INTRODUCTORY CRITICAL CARE EDUCATIONAL CONSORTIUM

 

 

Program Description:  

A 6-day basic critical care program designed to meet the beginning educational content needs of nurses providing care for early adolescents to elderly populations.  The content will be presented through lectures, handouts, and case studies by regional nursing and other clinical experts.

 

Program Objectives:    

  1.  Introduction of core critical care concepts to nurses entering critical care practice.
  2. Provide a theoretical base for clinical decisions made in critical care units.

Target  Audience:  Nurses beginning clinical practice in critical care.

Students:  Students must have concurrent critical care clinical rotation to register.  Include with registration school name, faculty name, and clinical site.

 

Refund Policy:  No refunds for cancellation received less than 7 days prior to the course.  We reserve the right to cancel the course if less than 20 people are registered.  Full refund will be granted if the Consortium cancels the program.
